Pune: The Pune Knowledge Cluster (PKC) is set to host the International Conclave on Citizen Science on 5th and 6th July 2025 in Pune. This landmark event will spotlight the transformative role of citizen-led scientific efforts in addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

Bringing together researchers, policymakers, technologists, environmental organizations, and citizen scientists from across the globe, the Conclave will explore the theme: “The Power of People in Science.”

The two-day International Conclave on Citizen Science event will provide a dynamic forum for showcasing global citizen science initiatives, enabling partnerships, and promoting the co-creation of impactful scientific knowledge.

  • Day 1: Citizen Science Expert Dialogue – July 5

The event will open with a closed-door dialogue involving organizations and individuals at the forefront of citizen science. This expert roundtable aims to share insights, challenges, and best practices while exploring strategies for enhancing citizen participation in research.

  • Day 2: Citizen Science Expo – July 6

The second day will be open to the public as a Citizen Science Expo, featuring interactive displays, poster presentations, and technology demos. Innovators, researchers, and citizen scientists will showcase tools, methods, and success stories that highlight the power of participatory science in real-world applications.
